Various physical disabilities require individual solutions to drive a vehicle. The modular joysteer® system, therefore, offers different operating units. These are programmed to the specific needs and can be adjusted by the car adaptation company upon request. Thus steering, accelerating and braking correspond to each individual’s personal needs. Each steering and braking request is transmitted entirely through an electronic connection to the wheel. This “Drive-by-Wire” technology is state of the art. Two separate branches monitor each other and make sure that in case of failure the functionality remains. Therefore joysteer provides safe driving at all times.
Relaxed Driving Experience
Due to individually adaptable force feedback, joysteer® 2.0 provides an active and relaxed driving experience. Furthermore, the steering ratio adapts to the driving speed. This ensures a safe handling and a precise lane keeping even at high speed.
